What "Joining Our Network" Means — and What It Does Not

Our partner network is a list of licensed, insured trades whose work we have seen perform reliably on insurance-restoration projects. Listing on the network does not pay the contractor anything, does not entitle the contractor to leads as compensation, and does not create any kind of fee-sharing arrangement between Dependable Claims Specialists and the contractor. Texas Insurance Code Chapter 4102 and Florida Statute §626.854 prohibit public adjusters from sharing fees with contractors on insurance claim work, and we enforce that boundary strictly.

What network membership does provide is professional credibility with the policyholders we represent who are evaluating contractors, and a working-knowledge channel for documentation standards (Xactimate scope, IICRC S500/S520 protocols, code-upgrade documentation, photo logs). The policyholder always remains the principal — they choose their own contractor, sign their own contract for the work, and pay the contractor directly out of insurance proceeds.

We do not require network contractors to sign exclusivity agreements, charge any membership fee, or restrict the contractor's ability to work on non-insurance projects or for other firms. The only prerequisites are valid licensing, current general-liability and workers'-comp insurance, and a track record of professional work that holds up to insurance-grade scrutiny.

Partner FAQ

How long does the application review take?

+
Most applications receive a response within 2–3 business days. Review includes confirming your license is in good standing through the relevant state contractor board, verifying current certificates of insurance, and checking the references you provide.

Is there a fee to join?

+
No. There is no application fee, no membership fee, and no recurring fee for inclusion in the network.

Are you accepting applications outside Texas and Florida?

+
We accept applications from any state because our two licensed states sometimes need partners on properties owned by out-of-state policyholders. Our primary service areas remain Greater Houston / Texas Gulf Coast and South Florida.

Will you guarantee leads in exchange for membership?

+
No. Public adjusters cannot guarantee leads in exchange for any compensation or status, and we do not. Membership signals trust to the policyholders we represent — what each of them does with that information is their decision.

What happens if a network contractor performs poorly on a job?

+
We follow up on every concern raised by a policyholder. If a network contractor fails to meet professional standards on a covered project, we remove them from the network without further notice. The policyholder's confidence in our recommendations is the entire foundation of having a network at all.
